LASH EXTENTIONS | AFTERCARE

After your eyelash extensions it is important that you follow the guidelines below to ensure the best possible treatment results and to help prevent and minimise reaction.

IN THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Avoid touching or rubbing your eyes to prevent irritation.  Don't apply make-up or any products on to the eye area as this may interfere with the lash glue and can cause infections or irritation on sensitive skin as well as weaken the glue bond.

 

IN THE FIRST 24 HOURS

Avoid water, swimming pools, showers etc. as the glue needs to stay completely try and free from product to properly cure.

 

IN FIRST 48 HOURS

Avoid sunbathing or UV exposure as this may prevent the glue curing properly.

 

IN THE FIRST 72 HOURS

Hot steam, steam rooms, saunas or any heated beauty treatments  Avoid using products containing AHA's or Glycolic Oil, oil based make-up or oil based make-up remover.

 

DO NOT

Wear mascara, perm, tint or curl your eyelashes when you have eyelash extensions.  Avoid picking, pulling or touching them as it can cause irritation and discomfort.

DO

Wash daily with an oil free lash cleanser and rinse with water to extend retention, use your mascara wand to brush them daily. HINT: If eyeshadow has fallen on your lashes when applying make-up, put some oil free eye make-up remover on your mascara wand and gently brush over your eyelashes to remove the make-up.
